About the Journal

The Journal of Sustainable Environment and Energy Frontiers is an open access peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research in the fields of environmental science and sustainable energy. It is a peer-reviewed semiannual journal published in English under the jurisdiction of the College of Energy and Environmental Sciences, Al-Karkh University for Science, Baghdad, Iraq. The journal aims to promote scientific knowledge, innovation, and practical solutions related to environmental sustainability and energy challenges. Manuscripts are accepted from researchers worldwide and are evaluated based on scientific merit, originality, and relevance.

Current Issue

Vol. 1 No. 1 (2026): Innovations in Sustainable Science for Environmental Protection and Resource Management

This  issue presents recent advances in sustainable science with a focus on environmental protection, renewable technologies, and resource management. The published articles cover nanomaterial-enhanced thermal systems, broadband photodetectors for environmental monitoring, molecular docking for bioremediation, municipal solid waste composting and methane generation, and biochar-based wastewater treatment. Together, these contributions demonstrate innovative approaches to addressing contemporary environmental and engineering challenges while promoting sustainable development.

Corresponding Author Requirements for JSEEF Submissions

To maintain the highest standards of academic integrity and professional communication, Journal of Sustainable Environment and Energy Frontiers (JSEEF) announces the following requirements for all manuscript submissions:

  1. Official Institutional Email Requirement

All manuscripts submitted to JSEEF must list a permanent, official, institutional email address for the corresponding author. Submissions using personal or temporary email accounts will not be accepted.

  1. Post-Graduate Student Submissions

For manuscripts prepared by post-graduate students, the primary academic supervisor must serve as the corresponding author. This ensures proper oversight, accountability, and adherence to JSEEF publication standards.

These requirements are implemented to enhance the credibility of scholarly communication, streamline editorial correspondence, and reinforce the journal’s commitment to research excellence.
